Clinicians juggle multi-state licensure, rolling availability and unpredictable patient demand. The legacy scheduler was a calendar with rules bolted on — and a HIPAA audit was looming.

We split the engine into a constraint-solver service and a clinician-facing app. Licensure, time-off, patient demand and state rules became first-class inputs. Auth was rebuilt on a HIPAA-aligned identity stack from day one.

— 03 · Outcome

Clinician hours got allocated 22% more efficiently. The HIPAA audit passed in a single pass. The product now runs across nine US states without code branches per state.
